So where did I go? For over a month I have been sick with an upper respiratory infection, conjunctivitis, and laryngitis. At first, I thought it was allergies. Soon after, I was unable to speak beyond a light whisper. Once the breathing troubles started, I was taken to urgent care.
Thanks to a round of steroids and antibotics, I am mostly better. My voice is still a little hoarse but hopefully that will clear up in another week or two. Apologies for keeping mum about my illness. Usually I am a private person but wanted people to know that I didn’t just disappear.
Anyway, it doesn’t matter how much, how often, or how closely you keep an eye on things because you can’t control it. Sometimes things and people just go. Just like that.

Always dress like it’s the best day of your life.
She may be dead to you
But her hips sway a natural kind of faith
That could give your lost heart
A warm chapel

“To be successful, one has to be one of three bees – the queen bee, the hardest working bee, or the bee that does not fit in.”
